Licence
This page applies only when RemediForge runs on your organization's own servers. The hosted portal has no licence page.
Settings → Licence shows:

| Devices | How many hosts are enrolled, of how many the licence allows |
| Valid until | The last day new hosts can be enrolled |
Its status is Valid, Ends soon, Ended, No licence or Not valid. When the licence ends soon or has ended, a banner at the top of the portal warns everyone.
When the licence ends or is full
Hosts that are already enrolled keep reporting and patching. Only new hosts cannot be enrolled until a valid licence with room for them is installed.
Get a licence
A licence works on one installation only. Copy the Install ID from Settings → Licence and send it to RemediForge with your order or renewal; the licence key you receive is made for that ID. A licence copied to another installation shows as Not valid there.
A server restored from this installation's backups keeps its Install ID. A new, empty installation has a new one and needs its own licence.
Install a new licence
Your server administrator installs the licence key you received, as the installation guide that came with RemediForge describes. The page shows the new licence straight away.
